"Imagine when cleaning your teeth, discovering a loose floorboard beneath your feet, and finding a hidden box underneath..."
During the Spring term 2020, our drama club have been learning about Physical Theatre. The children were firstly asked to explore the concept of Physical Theatre by creating objects such as dragons, robots, horse and carts. They then moved on to more abstract things like volcanos!
The children discussed what we mean by the word ‘crowd’ and they gave verbal examples. They then worked as one ‘crowd’ to physically create a red carpet event, a cinema screening and a train platform. This developed into 'not fitting in with the crowd’ and the children were asked to add in solo lines of dialogue alongside the physical theatre. Take a look below at some photographs of this.
