World Mental Health Day 10.10.19
Nursery enjoyed yoga and cooking! Our vegetable soup tasted delicious!
Our reception class had a fun-filled day doing activities that supported positive mental health, including peer massage, yoga and baking bread, just to name a few things! Have a look at a few of our photos from the day below. You can find more on our class page.
Year One- Wearing yellow for mental health.
KS1 Activity (Miss Taylor) Mindfulness Pointillism. The children used cotton buds to create a pattern using coloured dots.
Year One class photo- We spoke about kind words and actions as well as addressing feelings.
KS1 Activity (Mr Taylor) Mindfulness Garden and Meditation. The children created a flower which outlined what the children were grateful for and they took part in a meditation session.
Key Stage 2 Yoga Session
Year 6 completed a number of activities for World Mental Health Day. In the morning they took part in art therapy, yoga and outdoor learning. In the afternoon they chose to make pizzas.
