Screen Free Friday- Children's Mental Health Week

https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/

The theme of this year's Children’s Mental Health Week is Express Yourself.

Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good.

Nursery and Reception completed their Athletics competition to get their energy levels up. They read a lovely story to learn about how different feelings make our bodies feel. They played in our unit with our favourite things and friends. They ended the day with peer massage.

Reception learners have been busy reading, baking, doing athletics, riding bikes, walking and LOTS more screen-free activities!

Year 1- Friends learning from home have enjoyed walks, colouring and baking along with many other fun non screen activities!

Year 5 - Some of our at home learners enjoyed their screen-free Friday doing: art, baking, goose feeding, lego building and so much more. Year 5 absolutely loved this day without screens, with one child saying: "Best day ever, I needed this!"
