Virtual Dance Competition
We asked all our Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 pupils if they would like to enter the Doncaster School Games Primary Dance Competition.
Year 1 and 2: Lots of children were interested and after learning the routine, with a little help from the Key Stage 1 staff, they were split into dance troupes. All entries will be judged by Active Fusion’s experienced Dance Development Officer Sarah Belk very soon. The winners will receive a certificate.
The routine had to contain the following:
The Rules- Infant Competition
- The routine must be between 60-90 seconds
- Pupils must be dancing in unison (all doing the same routine at the same time)
- Each routine needs to incorporate Sarah’s Hip Shake action
Please take a look below at the four entries we have submitted to the competition.
Year 3 and 4: Again, lot of children were interested. They split themselves into smaller groups and came up with some moves they would like to do in response to a piece of music. All entries will be judged by Active Fusion’s experienced Dance Development Officer Sarah Belk very soon. The winners will receive a trophy and certificate.
