Topic: 

 LQ: How do you use oil pastels to create an animal pattern and an animal silhouette?

Look at the patterns on different animals. Look at the colours and what the texture of the pattern looks like. Use crayons or colours to create a patterened back ground and carefully cut out a silhouette of an animal.

Guided Reading:

Read the text and talk about the story.

Challenge yourself by building a house or Zoo or maybe use your imagination to make something else. You could play boards games, read or colour.
