Monday

Phonics-  Ay Sound

English- How do you plan a list? (Linking to the features of your favourite animal) Guided

Or continue with the list pack and having a go at writing a list for different events such as Easter, holidays and birthdays.

Topic- Plan and then make a large scale model dinosaur using a range of found and recycled materials, such as tyres, barrels, pipes, boxes and crates.

 Maths- How do you represent objects?

(Practical in class-  The children were then shown different pictures with different amounts of objects on them. They were encouraged to count the pictures and then put that amount on their tens frame to represent the objects. The children spoke about what they had carried out. By the end of the session the children knew for example that 9 elephants represented 8 counters)

Topic-  Create a dinosaur egg. (use playdough, sand or mud- Design the egg first) Create different textures and designs. How do certain dinosaurs lay their eggs?
