What Will We Be Learning?
In September we will start with our history topic 'Dinosaur Planet'. Have a read of the document below to see what kinds of things we will be doing. I have also included the topic challenge so you can have a go at any of the tasks over the Summer in preparation to start year 1.

Home learning will be issued on a Friday.
Children will be expected to complete:
- Spelling Shed activity- These will be linked to the sounds we have learnt in Phonics.
- Maths Shed activity .
- Continue to learn this terms Key Instant Recall Facts (this will be in place from Autumn 2)
- Children should read at least 3 times a week. This will now be recorded online, please click the yellow highlighted link to direct you to the site.

In Year 1 we learn using Talk for Writing - This is when we use actions to recall a story, poem, rhyme along with many other texts!
