Home Learning - English Writing
While you are working at home, I would still like you to complete writing tasks. I have set some below that you can choose from. You might want to think about completing one a week.
You can then email me them to n.watson@barnburghprimary.com
I will then add them to our class page. I look forward to reading your writing.

Supporting Year 5
I would also like to set you an English challenge. As you know, transition will not be the same for all year groups. I think it would be amazing if you could write a letter to the year 5 children telling them all about what year 6 is like. You could include the information about the topics, some of the exciting lessons (dissect a heart), crucial crew, SATs prep (even though you didn't do them) or how to improve your score in arithmetic tests. You could give them advice and support to reassure them that Year 6 isn't as hard as what everyone thinks!
When you have written your letters, can you please email me them so Miss Appleyard can add them to her Year 5 page for the children to read.
